COMMENCEMENT OF LASU CENTRAL ADMISSIONS CLEARANCE (LACACA) FOR ADMITTED SANDWICH STUDENTS IN 2024 MODULAR YEAR
Lagos State University is set to commence the online admissions clearance exercise for candidates admitted into the Sandwich Degree programmes for the 2024 Modular Year. Admitted candidates are required to participate in this process using the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).
Successful candidates who complete the LACACA process will be assigned matriculation numbers. Conversely, candidates who do not complete the process will forfeit their offer of provisional admission.
The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited. All admitted candidates for the 2024 Modular Year must pay the required clearance fee through the LASU e-payment portal. It is essential for candidates to have made payments for acceptance, medical, and clearance fees prior to beginning the online clearance process.
PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF LACACA CLEARANCE FEES:
1. Visit the LASU Consult website at lasu.edu.ng/consult.
2. Enter your Application Number in the designated field labelled “Matriculation Number/Application Number.”
3. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
4. Click “Continue.”
*STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION:*
1. Visit the LASU website at https://www.lasu.edu.ng.
2. Navigate to the STUDENT tab and click on SANDWICH LACACA.
3. Enter your 2024 modular year sandwich application number and surname, then click “Submit.”
Once on the dashboard, candidates are expected to complete the following steps:
(a) Validate your basic bio-data details.
(b) Verify your disability status.
(c) Upload O’Level scratch card details.
(d) Upload your original birth certificate.
(e) Upload your original Sandwich Admission Letter.
(f) Upload a scanned signature.
(g) Submit the application by checking the *“I Agree”* box and then click “Submit.”
(h) At this point, the admission clearance will progress to 20%, and the submitted documents will be reviewed by dedicated university officials.
(i) Candidates are expected to monitor the progress of their admission clearance regularly, as they may need to address any issues
(j) Candidates with errors that require correction will need to pay for the correction of such errors on the LASU payment portal at https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment.
(k) Upon achieving 100% clearance progress, successful candidates will be able to print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2024 Modular Year and will be assigned a matriculation number.
*Note:* The online clearance process will commence on Friday, 7th February 2025. Candidates who are rejected should check their portal for the reasons for rejection. Some may need to visit the Directorate of Sandwich at the Main Campus, Ojo, for further guidance.
