2025/2026 POST-UTME & DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, which is also called UNIZIK, is in Awka, Anambra State. The school is now ready to start its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for students who want to get into the school for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This screening is for students who want to join the university and study different courses. If you want to be part of this, there are a few things you need to know.
WHO CAN APPLY? (ELIGIBILITY)
Here are the people who can apply for the screening:
1. Candidates who chose UNIZIK in JAMB
If you picked Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka or any of its affiliate institutions (like other schools connected to it) as your first choice when you registered for JAMB (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) in 2025, and you got the required pass mark for the course you want, then you are allowed to apply for the screening.
2. Direct Entry Candidates
If you are a Direct Entry student, you can also apply. But you must have a certificate like OND, HND, First Degree, or A-Level in the right subject areas.
3. Candidates who didn’t choose UNIZIK first
If you didn’t pick UNIZIK as your first choice but you still got the pass mark for the course you want, you can also apply. But you must go to a JAMB CBT centre and change your first choice to UNIZIK.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
Here are some very important tips and reminders for everyone who wants to apply:
1. Make sure your O’level results are ready
You need to have your WAEC, NECO, or any other approved O’level results ready before or during the screening.
2. Be careful when choosing your course
Make sure the course you choose matches your JAMB score. For example, if you scored 180, you cannot apply for Medicine or Law because those need 200 or more.
3. You can change your course or institution
If you didn’t pick UNIZIK at first, you can go to any JAMB CBT center and change it. Also, if you didn’t reach the pass mark for your first choice, you can choose another course with a lower mark.
4. Screening is not an exam
The Post-UTME screening is not always a written test. Sometimes, the school uses your JAMB and O’level results to decide if you qualify.
5. Apply on time
Once the application form is out, apply early. Don’t wait till the last minute.
6. Use a working email and phone number
Make sure the email and phone number you use are active. That’s how the school will send you INFORMATION
