Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced adjusted office hours for the Ramadan period, which commenced today.
According to a circular issued by the university’s Information and Publication Division, office hours will now close at 3:00 pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and at 1:00 pm on Fridays.
The circular, signed by Publication Secretary Bala G. Abdullahi on behalf of the Registrar, also stated that no refreshments will be served at official meetings during the Ramadan period.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, wished all members of the university community a successful Ramadan and Allah’s blessings.
The adjusted office hours will take effect immediately and will remain in place throughout the Ramadan period.
