The admission into Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, (EKSU) for the 2025\/2026 Admission Exercise, that the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence from Wednesday, 13th August, 2025 (Please, note that there will be no examination). The University will consider UTME candidates who did not choose EKSU initially but scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME and are ready to change their institutions of first choice to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ekiti State University (EKSU) will give concessions to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes, in keeping with Senate approval. Candidates who are awaiting the results of their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) should not apply for the PUTME screening exercise. They are to apply as soon as the results of the examinations are released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The University\u2019s minimum UTME scores for Medicine &<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surgery, Law, Doctor of Pharmacy, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Mass Communication, Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Programmes, Computer Science, and Medical Biochemistry are<\/p>\n\n\n\n
260, 250, 240, 230, 220, 200, 180,180 and 180, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Candidates who have lower scores in any of the aforementioned Programmes may apply for PUTME screening into other Programmes of their choice and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. Please, note that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) and NOT IJMB for admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES<\/p>\n\n\n\n
i. To apply for 2025\/2026 UTME\/DE, go to eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng, click<\/p>\n\n\n\n
on ADMISSION, you will be directed to the online application portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ii. Sign up\u2019 by providing the required details to create an account, MAKE<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER, a verification email will be sent to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
iii. After successful sign up, click LOGIN to log on to your dashboard, applicants are to login using their CORRECT E-mail address or JAMB<\/p>\n\n\n\n
registration number as \u2018username\u2019 and enter your password provided<\/p>\n\n\n\n
while signing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
iv. On your dashboard, select the type of application (2025\/2026 PUTME<\/p>\n\n\n\n
application). The next page requires inputting applicant\u2019s JAMB Registration Number (UTME). For applicants who chose EKSU, their information will be populated automatically and they can proceed to fill in their other details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applicants who did not choose EKSU as first choice will have to fill in all their correct details, first of which is their JAMB Registration Number on the form page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
v. The next page requires PAYMENT FOR THE PUTME SCREENING FORM. Click on PAY NOW to redirect you for online payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
vi. On successful payment, the application form will be opened, attach your<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\u201d x 1\u201d coloured passport photograph with red background in JPEG<\/p>\n\n\n\n
format only on the form page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
vii. Upload details of your `O\u2019Level result(s) obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in the following examinations: WASC\/SSCE, NECO and<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NABTEB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
viii. After completing the above processes, preview, confirm, submit and print<\/p>\n\n\n\n
out the completed screening form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ELIGIBILITY<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022EKSU will admit only candidates who made at least five (5) Credit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
passes in SSCE\/NECO\/NABTEB in the relevant subjects AT NOT MORE<\/p>\n\n\n\n
THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS. (Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum<\/p>\n\n\n\n
of Upper Credit from Polytechnics for Engineering programmes and Lower<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Credit for other programmes. NCE holders with Credit\/Merit in relevant<\/p>\n\n\n\n
teaching subjects can apply for Education programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022Direct Entry candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered. Direct Entry candidates should send their transcripts via this e-mail address: admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng on or before Friday, 19th September, 2025, failing which their applications for admission will not be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022UTME Candidates with NECO results should submit their \u201cResult Verification Tokens\u201d at the Admissions Office for verification of their \u2018O\u2019 Level Results, while candidates without result verification tokens should visit NECO websites using http:\/\/everify.neco.gov.ng and input this e-mail address; admissions.verification@eksu.edu.ng at the interface provided for email. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the University. In addition, any false information uploaded by the candidate will lead to automatic disqualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
