{"id":3205,"date":"2026-05-18T11:03:04","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T11:03:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/giftconsult.com.ng\/blog\/?p=3205"},"modified":"2026-05-18T11:03:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T11:03:06","slug":"jamb-activates-portal-for-2026-olevel-result-uploading-on-caps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/giftconsult.com.ng\/blog\/jamb-activates-portal-for-2026-olevel-result-uploading-on-caps\/","title":{"rendered":"JAMB ACTIVATES PORTAL FOR 2026 O\u2019LEVEL RESULT UPLOADING ON CAPS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the CAPS portal for the uploading of 2026 O\u2019Level results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this latest development, candidates who registered for the 2026 UTME using <em>Awaiting Result (AR)<\/em> can now proceed to upload their WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results for admission processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activation comes shortly after the conclusion of the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting where admission guidelines and timelines for the 2026\/2027 academic session were finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHY YOU MUST UPLOAD YOUR RESULT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JAMB has made it clear that uploading your O\u2019Level result on CAPS is compulsory for admission consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u26a0\ufe0f <em>No Upload, No Admission<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates whose O\u2019Level results are not uploaded on CAPS cannot be considered for admission, regardless of their UTME score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Institutions also rely on the uploaded results to calculate screening aggregates and process admissions during Post-UTME exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR O\u2019LEVEL RESULT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates are advised to carry out the upload only at accredited CBT centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Required documents include: \u2022 JAMB Registration Slip<br>\u2022 O\u2019Level Result (WAEC\/NECO\/NABTEB)<br>\u2022 JAMB profile details<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the upload, candidates should log in to their JAMB CAPS portal and confirm that the results are correctly reflected under the <em>\u201cMy O\u2019Level\u201d<\/em> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TWO SITTING CANDIDATES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates combining two sittings (e.g WAEC + NECO) must ensure that both results are properly uploaded during the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates are strongly advised not to delay the upload, as admission processing has already commenced in many institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the CAPS portal for the uploading of 2026 O\u2019Level results.
