Successful completion of the clearance process is required before candidates can be assigned their <strong>matriculation numbers<\/strong> and issued the official <strong>LASU Admission Clearance Certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates who fail to complete the clearance exercise successfully may risk losing their provisional admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-requirements-before-starting-lacaca\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">REQUIREMENTS BEFORE STARTING LACACA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before commencing the clearance process, newly <strong>\u201cMatriculation Number\/Application Number.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter a valid email address and phone number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Continue<\/strong> and proceed with the payment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-how-to-complete-the-lacaca-clearance\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">HOW TO COMPLETE THE LACACA CLEARANCE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After making the required payment, candidates can proceed with the online clearance by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the official LASU website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Student<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>UG LACACA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your <strong>UTME Registration Number<\/strong> and <strong>Surname<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Submit<\/strong> to access your clearance dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates will then be required to complete the various sections of the clearance application, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Validation of basic biodata<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verification of HAPPENS AFTER SUBMISSION?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After submitting the LACACA application, the clearance progress will initially move to <strong>20%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The documents uploaded by each candidate will then be reviewed and scrutinized by the appropriate University officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates are advised to check their portals regularly because additional information, corrections, or further actions may be requested during the verification process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where a candidate is required to correct an error identified during the clearance process, the applicable <strong>LACACA correction fee<\/strong> Certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following successful completion of the clearance process, the University will subsequently assign the candidate a <strong>matriculation number<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-if-my-clearance-is-rejected\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHAT IF MY CLEARANCE IS REJECTED?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates whose clearance applications are rejected should log in to their portals and carefully check the reason for the rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where necessary, candidates should make the required corrections and resubmit their documents as instructed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates who
