This is mandatory \u2014 if you&#8217;re applying through Direct Entry, you must complete it to be considered for admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-who-can-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Can Apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Direct Entry candidates, including LASU Foundation (JUPEB) candidates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have obtained your Direct Entry Form from JAMB<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have selected LASU as your first-choice institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-qualification-requirements\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualification Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Except for NCE holders applying into the Faculty of Education, only the LASU Diploma is accepted for Direct Entry admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-application-window\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Window<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment, registration, and updating are open for two weeks: <strong>from 12 September 2026 to 26 September 2026, at midnight.<\/strong> Don&#8217;t wait until the last few days \u2014 if something goes wrong with payment or your details, you&#8217;ll want time to fix it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-how-to-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the LASU website and go to the UTME\/DE Screening platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;DE Candidate Login.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your JAMB registration number and surname.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the online self-screening: your personal information, your course of study, and your O&#8217;Level details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-o-level-requirements\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">O&#8217;Level Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You need 5 O&#8217;Level credit passes in subjects relevant to your chosen course, from no more than 2 sittings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medicine and Dentistry require all 5 credits from a single sitting \u2014 2 sittings are not accepted for these courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English Language is compulsory for every course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examinations taken after July 2026 will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you&#8217;re applying for Engineering with results from 2 sittings<\/strong>, you need 6 relevant credit passes, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, and 2 other science subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you&#8217;re applying for Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering<\/strong>, you also need a credit pass in Further Mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check the 2026 JAMB brochure for the exact O&#8217;Level subject requirements for your specific course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-don-t-forget-jamb-caps\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Don&#8217;t Forget JAMB CAPS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must also upload your O&#8217;Level results on JAMB CAPS before the screening exercise closes. This is separate from the LASU screening form \u2014 both need to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-after-you-submit\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">After You Submit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preview and certify all your information before submitting. Your screening decision is based only on what you provide, so check it carefully before you click submit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your screening is complete, download your screening report from the Screening Homepage using your Direct Entry registration number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Screening is based on a point grading system, using your UTME score and your SSCE (or equivalent) grades in your 5 best relevant subjects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-available-programmes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Available Programmes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accredited Direct Entry courses are available across:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Arts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication and Media Studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Law<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computing and Information Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agriculture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Library, Archival and Information Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transport and Logistics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-submitting-your-documents\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submitting Your Documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After your online screening, submit one copy each of your Online Admission Screening Report and your Notification of Diploma (LASU Diploma) or NCE Result at the Admission Annex\/Liaison Office, Room 7, Administrative Block II.
