Lagos State University (LASU) Management has approved an end-of-year break for staff and students to enjoy the festive season with their families.
Staff will observe a one-week break from Monday, December 29, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026. Full-time students will proceed on a two-week break starting Friday, December 19, 2025, until Friday, January 2, 2026, in line with the Senate-approved academic calendar.
All staff and students are to resume duties on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on behalf of the Senate and Management, wished the entire university community a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2026.
The announcement reinforces LASU’s commitment to fostering work-life balance during the holiday period.
