ADVERTISEMENT FOR ADMISSION INTO OAUTHC COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES FOR YEAR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife:

National/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing

Post Basic Perioperative Nursing

I     NATIONAL/HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND/HND) IN NURSING

Requirements

Applicants must possess WAEC: SSCE/GCE, NECO: SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, applicant(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with another result. Applicant(s) should be at least sixteen years (16) old as at January, 2025.

Method of Application

1. Applicants must have sat for the year 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum UTME score of 180.
2. Applicants must have choosen either OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife / Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice institution.
3. It is compulsory for the interested applicant(s) to have sat for the following subjects’ combination in their UTME: English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
4. Candidates are to note that they could upon admission be posted to either of the colleges i.e Ife Hospital Unit or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa Campus.

POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2025/2026 SESSION

1. 1. Post UTME screening exercise will hold for candidates who passed UTME with minimum score of 180 and made OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife/Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, as their first choice of institution or those willing to change their instituition and make OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife/Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, as their first choice for the approved programme.
   2. All candidates must ensure that they upload their O/Level results into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (caps) portal and choose either OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, IHU, Ile-Ife or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State, as their first choice institution.
   3. Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the instituition’s website: www.oauthc.gov.ng to complete and submit their application.
   4. Payment of two thousand naira (₦2,000.00) only for the Post UTME screening exercise and portal access fee of Thirteen thousand naira (₦13,000.00) only which will include:-
      1. Access to the registration portal
      2. Checking of date and venue of the screening exercise
      3. Checking of the admission status
      4. Printing of the admission letter. The total payment amount to Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000.00) only payable to College’s account through a generated remita.

This is by Computer Based Test (CBT).

Date of Computer Based Test (CBT)

Computer Based Test shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Examination Selection Committee. The exam is between Tuesday, 26^th August, 2025 and Wednesday, 27^th August, 2025

II     POST BASIC PERIOPERATIVE NURSING

This is a twelve (12) calendar month programme commencing in November, 2025.

Requirements

Applicants must:

1. Possess WAEC: SSCE/GCE, NECO: SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse
3. Please note that candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with another result.

Method of Application

Application forms are obtainable online from Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife website www.oauthc.gov.ng upon payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000.00) only.
