An EPin is a unique code that activates your JAMB profile for registration. Without it, no CBT centre can register you.

When you go to a CBT centre on registration day, the first thing they will ask for is this pin. You can buy it there, but that means joining one queue to get the EPin, then joining another queue for the actual registration. On busy days, that is a lot of waiting.

Some people buy it ahead of time from people outside CBT centres or on the street. Some of those pins are fake. Some have already been used by someone else.

The JAMB original result is the official printed copy of your JAMB exam score. It is not a screenshot or a photocopy. It is a document printed directly from JAMB showing your name, registration number, and score. Universities ask for this document at Post-UTME, screening, and clearance. A screenshot or photocopy is not accepted.

The JAMB admission letter is an official document from JAMB confirming that you have been offered admission. It is separate from the letter the university itself gives. They are two different documents and you need both.

Most students do not know the JAMB admission letter exists until the university asks for it at clearance and they cannot produce it.

Without it, clearance cannot be completed. If it was never printed or has been lost, we can retrieve and print it.

JAMB CAPS is the online portal you use to check your result, accept admission, and print your admission letter.

To access it, you need the email address and password you used during JAMB registration. If you have forgotten either one, you are locked out. You cannot check results, accept admission, or print any document until access is restored.

We generate a new password so you can log back in and continue the process. The only thing needed is the SIM card that was used when you first created your JAMB profile. As long as that SIM card is still available, we can sort it out.

A JAMB profile code is a unique number assigned to every student when they first register with JAMB. It is tied to the phone number used at that time and is what links you to your JAMB account permanently. If you changed your SIM, lost that line, or cannot remember the code, you are locked out of the JAMB portal entirely and cannot register for the new session.

This is one of the most common problems for students who are re-sitting JAMB. Without the original profile code, registration cannot proceed.

The NIN premium slip is not the same as the basic NIN slip most people have. It carries a QR code for instant identity verification and is specifically required for JAMB registration. A standard NIN document might not be accepted at CBT centres.

Banks, universities, and an increasing number of government processes also require the premium slip for official transactions.

A WAEC scratch card is a physical card that contains a PIN used to verify your WAEC results online.

Universities use this to check your O'Level grades at Post-UTME, screening, and clearance. Without it, they cannot verify your results and the process stalls.

Each card can check results up to five times. Buying from an unreliable source risks getting an invalid or already-used card.

A NECO scratch card works the same way as a WAEC scratch card. It contains a PIN that is used to verify your NECO results online. Schools that accept NECO will ask for this at Post-UTME and clearance.

Each card works for up to five checks and is tied specifically to your results. Once all five checks are used or the card is lost, NECO will not issue a replacement. You cannot use another person's card either.

NECO E-Verification is the official solution NECO provides when a student can no longer use their scratch card. It allows results to be verified online without needing the physical card.

This becomes necessary in a few situations. If you have used all five checks on your scratch card, the card is finished and cannot be replaced. If the card has been lost, same problem. In either case, when a school asks for result verification, you have nothing to provide.

Some schools will ask for an E-Verify PIN so their admissions office can do the verification themselves. Others will allow you to verify and show them the outcome. Whichever one the school asks for, we handle it.

NABTEB stands for National Business and Technical Examinations Board. It is the examination body that conducts exams for students in technical and vocational schools. If you wrote NABTEB instead of or alongside WAEC or NECO, you need a NABTEB scratch card to verify your results.

The WAEC original certificate is the physical certificate issued by the West African Examinations Council. It is different from a result printout or a scratch card. It is the actual certificate, with your name, subjects, and grades officially printed and stamped on it.

Many universities, employers, and scholarship bodies require this certificate as proof of qualification. A result printout is not always accepted in its place.

Here is what most people do not know: if you try to collect this certificate through your school, WAEC will not release it until at least one year after results come out. And it will cost from ₦30,000.

A birth certificate is an official government document that proves your identity, date of birth, and nationality. In Nigeria, it is issued by the National Population Commission.

Every Nigerian university requires it at clearance before they will complete your enrollment. It does not matter how good the results are or how far along the process you have come. No birth certificate means no clearance.

A state of origin certificate is a document issued by your Local Government Area that officially confirms which state you are from. It is not the same as a birth certificate.

Nigerian universities require it at clearance. It determines which admission quota you fall under, and in some schools it also affects the amount paid as school fees. Some federal universities give preferential treatment to indigenes of certain states, and this certificate is what proves that.

Getting it involves going to the right LGA secretariat, bringing the correct documents, and dealing with officials who do not always make things easy. Done wrong or left too late, it causes delays at exactly the wrong time.
