The Directorate of ICT, Lagos State University (LASU), has officially activated the Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) Portal for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
The LACACA clearance is a compulsory process for newly admitted students and must be successfully completed before candidates can be assigned their matriculation numbers and issued their LASU Admission Clearance Certificates.
📅 LACACA CLEARANCE PERIOD
Opening Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Closing Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2026
All eligible candidates are advised to complete their clearance within the stipulated period.
ELIGIBILITY
To participate in the LACACA clearance exercise:
- Candidates must have been offered admission by Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2026/2027 academic session.
- Candidates must have completed payment of the required Acceptance Fee, Medical Fee and LACACA Clearance Fee before commencing the online clearance.
- Candidates must provide all required documents and information for verification.
Successful candidates will be assigned matriculation numbers after completing the clearance process.
Candidates who fail to complete the clearance successfully may risk forfeiting their provisional admission.
📑 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Newly admitted candidates should have the following documents and information available for the clearance exercise:
- LASRRA ID, where applicable
- O’Level Scratch Card details
- Original Birth Certificate
- NIN
- Original JAMB Result/Certificate or Notification of Result
- Original JAMB Admission Letter
- Scanned Signature
Candidates should ensure that all uploaded documents are genuine, clear and readable.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SUBMISSION?
After submitting the LACACA application, the documents and information provided will undergo verification by the appropriate University officials.
Candidates are advised to regularly log in to their portals and monitor the progress of their clearance.
Where corrections or additional information are required, candidates should follow the instructions displayed on their portal.
⚠️ IF YOUR CLEARANCE IS REJECTED
Candidates whose clearance applications are rejected should log in to their portal and carefully check the reason for the rejection.
Some candidates may be required to make corrections or visit the Admission Office, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, for further guidance.
Candidates should not ignore a rejected clearance status, as successful completion of LACACA is important for finalizing their admission.
