The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially commenced online registration for its 2026/2027 Direct Entry admission screening exercise.
Candidates who selected UNIPORT as their preferred institution for Direct Entry admission are invited to complete their registration through the university’s official portal.
🗓️ REGISTRATION PERIOD
Registration begins on Friday, 15th May 2026 and closes on Friday, 19th June 2026.
ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES
Candidates eligible to apply include those who: • Chose UNIPORT for Direct Entry admission
• Possess acceptable A’Level, Diploma, NCE, JUPEB, IJMB or Degree qualifications
• Meet the university’s admission requirements
• Are at least 16 years old by September 2026
HOW TO APPLY
- Visit the UNIPORT portal
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number
- Verify your pre-loaded JAMB details
- Generate a Remita payment invoice
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 at any bank using Remita
- Return to the portal to complete your registration
- Submit all required documents online or through the Admissions Office
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants are expected to provide: • Photocopy of JAMB Slip
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
• O’Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE)
• A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB/Degree Result with CGPA where applicable
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Candidates must ensure consistency of names across all documents
• Any discrepancy in names may lead to disqualification
• Registration closes at midnight on 19th June 2026
• Late applications will not be accepted
• Candidates must upload their results on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission
• The entire registration process is online; physical presence is not required
