EKSU’s General Cut-Off Is 150, But the Course You Want Could Need 260

Medicine at EKSU requires 260 in JAMB. Law requires 250. Pharmacy requires 240. Students who apply based on the general minimum of 150 waste their money on a form that was never going to work. We know the real cut-off for each course and we make sure you apply where you have a genuine chance.

Why Should You Trust What We Say About School Admission?

Since 2023, we have helped students gain admission across 50+ universities in Nigeria including LASU, UNILAG, UI, FUOYE, and LASUED. The testimonials below are from real students and parents we have worked with.

My journey with Gift Consult began with a chat on WhatsApp on information about various universities Post UTME stuff. I was happy on one part but scared on the part because of trust. But I still went ahead following him up with a strong mind of believe in him even though we had never met before. Gift Consult helped my two sons in every steps of their admission process easily and smoothly with prompt information, No-Stress Payments, etc. I give him 100/100 for his efforts that made my sons' dream come true.

I can't really remember how I get gift Consult's contact but one thing I know is that I've never regretted choosing him as my consultant. My admission process was very smooth and I'm really grateful for that. I didn't have any issues with my admission processing, from screening to lacaca clearance to all my payments. It was very smooth and I highly recommended gift consult for any jambite and aspirant this year.

EKSU’s General Cut-Off Is 150, But the Course You Want Could Require 260

After JAMB results come out, EKSU opens a screening registration window. You register online, upload your O’Level results and other documents, and EKSU screens your application based on what you submitted. There is no written Post-UTME exam.

The mistake most students make is applying for courses like Medicine or Law based on EKSU’s general minimum of 150, not knowing that Medicine requires 260, Law requires 250, and Pharmacy requires 240. By the time they find out their application was never going to be considered, the registration period for other universities has passed and the year is gone.

The other common mistake is not uploading the correct documents during the screening window. If your O’Level results or other required documents are missing or incorrect, your application does not move forward regardless of your JAMB score.

EKSU’s general minimum is 150 but that does not mean every course accepts 150. Competitive courses set their own cut-offs well above the general minimum. If you apply for Medicine with a score of 200, your application will not be considered because Medicine requires 260.

Post-UTME at EKSU

EKSU does not hold a written Post-UTME exam. The screening is done entirely online. You register on the EKSU portal, upload your O’Level results and a passport photograph, and EKSU reviews your application based on your JAMB score and the documents you submitted. Your admission depends on your JAMB score meeting the cut-off for the specific course you applied for and your O’Level results being complete and correct.

Worried about making a mistake and losing your EKSU admission?

We know exactly what can go wrong, and more importantly, how to get it right. We've helped hundreds of students get admitted into EKSU. We can help you too.

Why Students Miss EKSU Admission

1

You apply for Medicine or Law at EKSU using the general minimum of 150 as your benchmark. Medicine requires 260 and Law requires 250. Your application is not considered and you do not find out until the process is over.

2

You do not upload the correct documents during the screening window. EKSU’s screening is done online based on what you submit. If your O’Level results are missing or your documents are incomplete, your application does not move forward.

3

Your name appears on the list but you are not watching the portal. The acceptance fee deadline passes before you act.

Have a Diploma or A-Levels? You Can Enter EKSU Without Writing JAMB Again

If you already have a National Diploma from a polytechnic or you have A-Level results (like from JUPEB or Cambridge), you do not need to write JAMB again to enter EKSU. There is a route called Direct Entry that lets you apply straight into 200 Level. Each faculty has its own requirements for this route and the application runs on a completely separate timeline from the regular JAMB process.

Every year, students with diplomas and A-Level results sit at home planning to rewrite JAMB because nobody told them they could skip it. If you have any of these qualifications, reach out to us and we will check whether you qualify.

Don't Just Take Our Word For It

It all started during jamb period, Where there was a glitch in the results and it was said to be the first time it would be happening. I cried so hard that I got sick because of my jamb score and everyone else told me nothing that could be done about it and that I should accept my score like that . But Gift consult he encouraged his students and updated us with every progress made then until they rescheduled us to sit for the exams again, he even gave us past questions and answers to study with. I wrote my jamb and had a good score but then again admission processing wasn't easy but he stood by me and supported me in every way till I finally gained admission to study Philosophy in FUOYE. In short He is selfless, responsible, humble and kind💕. Thanks
