The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that the portal for printing the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip has not yet been activated for candidates.
According to the Board, the delay is connected to the recent conclusion of foreign UTME examinations and preparations for the upcoming mop-up examination for affected candidates.
JAMB explained that the UTME is a ranking examination, and the Original Result Slip contains candidates’ ranking details. As a result, all pending examination processes and adjustments must first be concluded before the slips can officially be made available for printing.
WHY THE RESULT SLIP IS NOT YET AVAILABLE
The Board stated that: • Foreign examinations were recently concluded
• Preparations for the mop-up examination are ongoing
• Candidate rankings are still being finalized
• Necessary admission-related adjustments are still in progress
Because of this, the printing portal cannot yet be activated.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
Candidates are advised to remain patient and avoid falling victim to false claims or fake websites promising access to the Original Result Slip.
JAMB assured candidates that: • The portal will be activated soon
• Official announcements will be made immediately the process begins
• Candidates will be able to print their Original Result Slips online once activated
The Board also apologized for the delay and appealed for understanding from candidates and parents nationwide.
