LASU ACTIVATES 2026/2027 INDIGENESHIP VERIFICATION EXERCISE (IIVE) REGISTRATION PORTAL

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has officially activated the portal for the 2026/2027 Indigeneship Verification Exercise (IIVE) for candidates of Lagos State origin.

All candidates who selected LASU as their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 195 are eligible to apply.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

• Registration Begins: Monday, 27th April 2026
• Registration Ends: Friday, 22nd May 2026

Candidates are advised to complete their registration within their scheduled phase and ensure all required steps are followed.

IMPORTANT DATES

• IIVC Sensitization: Monday, 27th April 2026 (9:00 AM)
• IIVE Registration & Revalidation: April 27 – May 22, 2026
• Interview & Clearance: April 27 – May 22, 2026 (Daily from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

SCREENING VENUES

All interviews will take place at LASU Main Campus, Ojo, based on candidate divisions:

• Ikeja Division: Sociology Class, Opposite Health Centre
• Badagry Division: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Education
• Ikorodu Division: Law Clinic, Faculty of Law
• Lagos Division: MBA Building, International Business Class
• Epe Division: School of Transport and Logistics

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Candidates must attend their interview based on their assigned division
• Ensure all documents are properly prepared before the screening date
• Direct Entry applicants who are Lagos State indigenes are also required to participate

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR IIVE INTERVIEW

Applicants are to come along with:

1. IIVC Manual Form
2. LASU IIVC Payment Receipt
3. Completed Online Data Form
4. UTME Registration Slip showing LASU as first choice
5. O’Level Result (Awaiting result candidates can also apply)
6. Two Passport Photographs
7. Candidate’s Birth Certificate
8. Parent’s Birth Certificate
9. Letter from the Oba of your town of origin
10. Letter from your Local Government Chairman

FINAL NOTE

All Lagos State indigene candidates seeking admission into LASU must participate in this exercise, as it is a key requirement for admission consideration.
