The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced a slight adjustment to the scheduled timing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), particularly affecting candidates in the first session.
According to the update, the arrival time for the first session has been shifted from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, while the examination will now commence at 8:30 AM.

JAMB advised all candidates to take note of this adjustment and ensure they arrive at their examination centres early enough to complete necessary verification processes before the exam begins.
Candidates are also reminded to strictly follow their assigned session and timing as indicated on their UTME examination slip to avoid missing their exam.
