The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has begun withdrawing some 2026 UTME results, with affected candidates set to participate in an upcoming mop-up examination.
According to notifications received by affected candidates, JAMB disclosed that the withdrawn results will no longer stand and that new examination schedules will be communicated later.
The message sent to candidates reads:
“Your 2026 UTME result has been withdrawn. You will be rescheduled for the mop-up exam. Date and time will be communicated accordingly.”

Although JAMB has not officially explained the reason behind the withdrawal of the affected results, the development has sparked reactions among candidates and parents nationwide.
