Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has officially commenced the upload of the 2026/2027 undergraduate admission list on its admission portal, signalling the beginning of the admission offer process for qualified candidates.
Candidates who participated in the recently concluded Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise can now begin checking their admission status, as successful applicants are gradually being offered provisional admission into their respective programmes.
The admission process is being carried out in batches, meaning not every successful candidate will receive admission at the same time. If your admission status has not changed yet, there is no need to panic. More batches are expected to be released as the exercise progresses.
What Admitted Candidates Should Do
Candidates who receive admission are advised to take the necessary steps immediately to avoid unnecessary delays in the admission process.
Once your admission reflects on JAMB CAPS, you should:
- Accept your admission.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter.
- Print your Original JAMB Result Slip.
- Follow all LASU registration and clearance procedures as they are released by the University.
Candidates should continue checking both the LASU Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS, as admission may first appear on either platform depending on the stage of processing.
Why Your Admission May Not Be Showing Yet
LASU does not release all admissions at once. The University processes admissions in phases after completing several verification procedures.
Some of the factors that may affect when your admission appears include:
- Verification of your O’Level results.
- Departmental admission requirements.
- Available admission quota for your course.
- Approval and processing by JAMB.
If your status still shows “Not Admitted” or “Admission in Progress,” remain patient and continue checking regularly, as more admission batches are expected.
Important Advice to All Candidates
Candidates are strongly advised to rely only on official information regarding the admission exercise.
Do not pay anyone who claims they can secure admission for you. LASU admissions are processed strictly in line with the University’s approved admission guidelines and JAMB regulations.
Also, ensure that your O’Level result has been successfully uploaded on JAMB CAPS, as failure to upload your result may delay or prevent your admission.
